Here's a quick update on what our Chicago Market teams have been doing this past week:
Site selection team members worked on letters of intent on two prospective sites.
Board members followed-up with prospective Board candidates.
Marketing/Owner Recruitment and Engagement team met to plan July and August projects, created a shared social media/messaging calendar and revised its goals.
Board member Karen wrote a report on the Coffee & Conversation event for the blog.
Funding met with a potential Chicago-based funding source.
Board members talked with co-op consultant Bill Gessner.
Board president met with Stuart Reid of the Food Co-op Initiative to talk about the best way to use their services.
Site selection met with architects and reviewed letters of intent.
Site selection wrote a draft letter of agreement with the architecture firm.
