Here's a quick update on what our Chicago Market teams have been doing this past week:
Board President and others had a phone call with a consultant to update and edit the business plan.
Events continues work on our harvest-themed pop-up for September, and is working on a draft of rules and regulations for pop-up events.
Board member Karen is finishing work on the August newsletter and beginning on September's.
Content drafted an email for potential pop-up vendors.
Site toured a potential location with our architects.
Work continues on the upcoming Owners' Meeting.
MORE team is planning new owner recruitment and engagement strategies.
Board member Jen had calls with two potential new web development partners and worked on materials for Board candidate elections.
Former and current Board members, on their summer vacations, are checking out co-ops around the world. Board President Grant Kessler visited the Lexington Co-operative Market in Buffalo, NY. Funding Director Greg Berlowitz is touring co-ops in Italy. And Board member Linn toured two natural food stores in Sweden.
