What About E-Commerce?

And so when we build Chicago Market it will need to have a big e-commerce, delivery and curbside pickup program, right?

The Grocery Landscape
The industry experts are definitely hard at work studying this and we're staying tapped in to their knowledge. There are three organizations that help start-ups like ours get launched and we're in touch with them all.

Owners Meeting Recording - April 25, 2020
Chicago Market's Board welcomed Owners on Zoom Saturday afternoon for a chance to hear about our site updates in-person (well, as in-person as the current situation allows!), to answer questions, and most importantly, learn how they can lean in and support their Co-op.
Gerber Building Update
If you've walked or driven past the Gerber Building in the last couple of months, you've probably noticed something: Construction on Chicago Market has not yet begun. Our project has faced a number of serious challenges over the past six months, and we'd like to share them with you. Artist Mara Baker’s Chameleon Blind Window Project connects vacant storefronts with the streetscape outside. By filling the empty windows with the colors and patterns of the city, Baker integrates the empty space back into public life. Her installation in the Chicago Market space is a collaboration between Chicago Market and Business Partners, The Chamber for Uptown, supported by a Public Art Grant. The installation is on display in the windows of the Chicago Market building and will be lit up each evening. Stop by our storefront in the Gerber Building at the Wilson CTA station to see it!
