Sheep, laying hens, cows, pigs, goats, and various poultry are raised with the of goals of bringing back biodiversity and fertility to the land through organic farming methods and making life-giving, grass-fed meat and eggs available in a region where they are hard to come by. Grass-fed meats are more delicious – this is an added bonus!

Windrose Flowers follows the same organic standards as we use for vegetables on Tempel Farms Organics, focusing on an environment clear of any hard chemicals or pesticides, keeping ourselves, our neighbors and our customers free from any harm. By raising our organically grown flowers we continue our practices in soil fertility, crop rotation and growing a healthy, beautiful flower with our personal care.

We always try to let fruit sit on tree, vine, plant or bush until fully ripe. Picking ripe means our fruit is picked at the height of its ripeness, not just based on looks and taste, but also as indicated by a brix reading on a refractometer. Taste outweights travel for us.

Our small, Chicago-based company makes TeaSquares at a family-owned facility in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. We tested every batch by hand and went through about 50 different iterations of the recipes before arriving at our current 3 flavors. We offer tasty versions of Açaí Blueberry, Citrus Green Tea Matcha, and Madagascan Vanilla.
