We at Chicago Market are so fortunate to work with so many outstanding local businesses. 

And one of our great supporters has been The Shift, a co-working and community space in Uptown, that has hosted several of our Board meetings and educational workshops. 

It's great to find a bright, modern meeting/workspace like this in a northside neighborhood, without having to commute downtown. 

Shift Owner Nicole Vasquez started The Shift to encourage cooperation among neighbors in her community by providing a place where everyone can work and learn together. 

We also love how supportive The Shift is of local businesses, an ethos we share. They buy goods from Emerald City Cafe, Jimmy Bars, Metropolis Coffee Company, GNS Market and North Buena Deli. 

The Shift is also great about promoting its co-working Members in social media, as well as helping them connect with other local professionals. 

Recently, The Shift has hosted several successful brand-training events. 

Users of the space can buy four-hour blocks of work time there, or sign up for a membership plan with flexible access.
