We're hosting Open Houses every Sunday during our capital campaign, Build a Better Market. In addition to touring our future store, drop by to learn more about investing in a better grocery store model—one that prioritizes sustainability, transparency, and community economic impact.
Our SHOP team will also have several products for sale from local producers and farmers. And we'll have a special feature at each Open House—for the October 17th edition, we're hosting a personal care product drive to benefit the clients of Care for Real.
Care for Real is a food pantry located in both Edgewater and Rogers Park. They are seeking personal care items that will be assembled into kits that are provided to clients along with their groceries. The biggest needs are individually-wrapped toilet paper rolls, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, deodorant, razors, toothpaste, mouthwash, toothbrushes, and Black hair care products. Full size items are preferred versus travel/sample sizes.
And if you're already an Owner but haven't received your Owner tote bag yet, stop in to the Open House for that and start carrying it proudly over your shoulder to tell the world YOU OWN a grocery store!
If you RSVP below we'll send you a friendly reminder, but it's not necessary. Drop in anytime between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm on October 17th.
