What motivated you to become an Owner of Chicago Market?

A friend of mine, Giorie Mahn, is an Owner, and she brought me to the recent My Buddy's Mixer. I joined on the spot!

What type of work do you do?

I’m Senior Event Manager at Lincoln Park Zoo. My partner, Bruce, is the owner of the Chicago Beer Experience.

What else is really important to you…and why?

Being a good person. Because, you know, karma.

Is there something new you’d like to learn or pursue…either now or someday?

American Sign Language.

Do you have a favorite food or “signature dish”?

Not yet! A big part of wanting to buy into this community is to get motivated to learn how to cook and treat my body the way it should be treated!

What’s your ‘one wish come true” for Chicago Market? It might be a product for our shelves, a program you’d like to see us offer, a location – you name it!
