At Chicago Market, we believe our community is stronger when everyone has a seat at the table. To lower financial barriers to Ownership, we have created All Are Welcome, a payment plan path to Founding Ownership. This option is open to those on limited incomes, experiencing financial instability, or participating in programs like LINK, SNAP, WIC, or SSI/SDI. Our intent is to ensure these valued community members have the ability to enjoy the benefits of Co-op Ownership by accessing a more affordable, longer-term payment plan.
Initial payment is $12.50. Share value is $250. Payment schedule is $12.50/quarter for five years (20 quarters).
Any patronage refund earned will be applied to the share balance until equity reaches $250. Once equity reaches $250, those on the All Are Welcome payment plan receive any patronage refunds directly.
