City Grants Chicago Market Over $5 Million

We've worked diligently as a Co-op, building up one of the largest start-up Owner bases in the country — over 2,200 now! And together we've raised over $1.6 million to fund our store. Now the City is making a large investment which recognizes you, recognizes your shared community values and goals, and it clears the path for the final phase of our development.

First On-Site Physical Work at Chicago Market

Uptown Farmers Market Sponsor Profile - Becovic

Hard to believe, but we’re already half-way through the Uptown Farmers Market season. As we move into the back half, we’d like to highlight another sponsor, Becovic, who has helped make this Market possible. Becovic is a family-owned residential real estate firm located in Uptown. And just like us, they believe that being an engaged resident, neighbor and community member is vital to the growth of any neighborhood. Follow us to our blog to learn more about Becovic and their Uptown story.

News from Our Business Owners

Collective Resource Compost: "Most people know that we have a container-swap composting service that makes composting easy but did you know that we also facilitate zero waste events? It makes sense, because in order to get closer to a zero waste goal, you need to compost the food scraps. We can help with events of all sizes and the way to begin a conversation is to fill out this form on our website and get connected with our terrific customer service team. We appreciate when you talk about composting with your friends, neighbors, co-workers and employers and adding zero waste to your gatherings is a great way to educate and let others know what’s possible."

Cornerstone Community Outreach: "On August 10th Cornerstone Community Outreach is holding its annual Back to School Rally to get the kids in their family programs ready to start the new school year! This epic party is paired with a yearly donation drive to help buy each child experiencing homelessness new shoes, a backpack, and school supplies for the first day of school. Go to our GoFundMe page to make a direct impact on the life of a neighbor in need!
