Owners- we need your input! October is Co-op Month, and we at Chicago Market believe in Co-op principle #6: Cooperation Among Cooperatives. We're already building relationships with First Federal Credit Union, a financial cooperative, REI, the famous consumers' cooperative specializing in outdoor gear and sporting equipment, and of course our fellow food co-ops in the Chicagoland Food Co-op Coalition: Sugar Beet, Dill Pickle, Prairie Food Co-op, Rogers Park Food Co-op, and Shared Harvest. 

But we can do more. Many of you are veteran co-op Owners, and we want to pick your brains: Why do you love co-ops? What do you see for Chicago Market? What have your past co-ops done that you’d like to see us do, particularly in terms of engaging current Owners and recruiting new Owners?  Most importantly, how can we reach other co-op lovers in Chicago who haven't heard of Chicago Market?
