Chicago Market is going to Farm Aid!

Farm_Aid.png

Chicago Market is going to Farm Aid! Join us at the HOMEGROWN Village at Farm Aid 30 and learn all about food co-ops: what they are, how they work, and how they can change your relationship with food.

Chicago Market is the ONLY co-op to be presenting at the Homegrown Village, so make sure to stop by and see our hands-on exhibit showcasing all things co-op, from idea to reality. We'll be joined by many other exhibitors focusing on topics like soil and water preservation, the future of green power, and (of special interest to us!) "eating your zip code".

Each year, Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews host a Farm Aid concert to bring together a wide variety of artists, farmers and fans for one mission: keeping family farmers on the land. Farm Aid is the longest running concert for a cause in America, raising $48 million since 1985 to help family farmers thrive all over the country while inspiring millions of people to take part in the Good Food Movement.
