Chameleon Blind Window Project
We're proud to be building community and we've hosted two terrific events recently.
One of our Owners at Mind Body Defense reached out offering a free self-defense workshop. Torriente welcomed a great crowd and coached people through various methods of awareness and defense. If you missed it or just want more, be sure to sign up with Mind Body Defense for a deeper dive.

And as you've probably seen in the windows, we've worked with Uptown United to bring the beautiful, glowing installation art of Mara Baker to our windows. Together we hosted a gallery opening of Chameleon Blind this past weekend so people would have an opportunity to connect with the artist and learn about her work. She walked over 50 attendees through her processes and inspiration.
And noting how impressed she is with our community and the effort to bring our store to fruition, Mara joined us as an Owner that night!
Special thanks to our Owner friends Earth First Farms who brought hot apple cider and Andy Kalish who sent sandwiches and bites from his new vegan Jewish deli, Sam & Gertie's.

Thanks for your service!
We're incredibly grateful for the commitment Richard Stacewicz gave his Co-op as a Board member. We're sorry to see him have to step down from the Board, but we're better for having had him leading.
