What motivated you to become an Owner of Chicago Market?

I like that it is making a positive impact on the Uptown community and is bringing this type of business to the neighborhood.

What type of work do you do?

I work in Marketing for the University of Chicago Medical Center.

What else is really important to you…and why?

My family...being positive...and giving back. I believe everyone can make a difference.

Is there something new you’d like to learn or pursue…either now or someday?

I'm currently getting my dual MBA/MHA so I can continue to grow my career in healthcare and give back to the community.

Do you have a favorite food or “signature dish”?

I make a pretty delicious cheese platter -- and I can throw a killer party! I used to plan events for a living.

What’s your ‘one wish come true” for Chicago Market? It might be a product for our shelves, a program you’d like to see us offer, a location – you name it!

I'd love it to become a positive gathering place for the Uptown community.
