Board Officer Shuffle
Here's a quick update on your Co-op's leadership. Our treasurer stepped down from the Board this spring for personal reasons so the Board voted to appoint Lee Herman to fill the treasurer role on June 12. In doing so, Lee vacated the vice president seat, so on June 26 the Board voted to appoint Sofia Jouravel as vice president. Secretary and president roles remain the same - Anthony Todd and Grant Kessler, respectively. Thanks to all for serving your Co-op!

Calling all potential Board members!
Time, Treasure, Talent.We need all three to open the store!Owners do more than just join the Co-op and shop. Beyond the needs for volunteers and Owner loans (have you made yours yet?!), Chicago Market is looking for new Board members to grow our Board. This is a great opportunity to contribute and be involved in the process of opening the store. We are especially looking for those who have bookkeeping, accounting, strong business, program management, fundraising, grant writing, and volunteer management skill sets. Candidates will be introduced at the upcoming annual meeting in August followed by online voting. There are five open seats. Eligible candidates must be the Owner of record.
