Project Update
A lot has changed just in the last few weeks that puts our project in a stronger position.
Our partners are moving proposals and approvals forward within their organizations very quickly. Our advocates within these organizations are creative and dedicated to a solution for your Co-op that closes the $2.5 million funding gap we face. And our community and political allies are incredibly supportive also.
We can’t share details until things are final, but we want you to know your Board is leading negotiations on your behalf that are moving in the right direction.
Things could still go wrong. There could still be delays. There will absolutely continue to be hurdles along the way. A project this complex will always have that, but the good news is that our community, and your Board, are strong and persistently facing the challenges.
On behalf of the entire Board, thank you for your continued support.
Grant Kessler
Board President
Director Emeritus Elected
Matthew Ruffi’s term on the Board ended on September 30 this year. Matthew served five years on our Board and three and a half of those as our President. His dedication and leadership have been inspiring and the Board does not want to lose his wisdom, institutional knowledge, or his infectious laugh, so we have voted to appoint him Director Emeritus.
An emeritus director is non-voting and has no fiduciary responsibility, but instead acts as advisor and sounding board.
Thank you, Matthew, for all you've done...and continue to do!

Winter Walk on Wilson - we are pleased to be partnering again with Uptown United to host the Winter Walk on Wilson pop-up market in our space. Hold the evening of December 5 in your calendar and we’ll see you there!
We will be hosting a clean-up session for our building and parking lot ahead of the Winter Walk. Get involved and help us by emailing and we'll follow up with details.
