Provenance Food and Wine in Lincoln Square is hosting a free wine-tasting Open House for Chicago Market supporters. No need to brush up on your wine terms (leave your “pencil shavings,” “barnyard” and “bramble” talk at home). This is a casual, neighborhood shop with a thoughtful selection of products (check out their website). These folks are also serious supporters of the Market.  

Do I have an ulterior motive? What? Me? Of course not … Well, maybe I do. How about bringing a friend who is interested in becoming an Owner? We can do all the talking; you can sit back and enjoy the wine. Would I blatantly offer a bribe? Of course not … Well, maybe I would. We will have a drawing for a $25 Provenance gift certificate. It will go to one lucky Owner who brings a friend.
