Hi! I'm Ellen, I am a home gardener and mostly always chicken coopier on the northwest side of Chicago, just beyond the last stop on the Brown Line. I am a member of Dill Pickle (love it, but it's pretty small!) and was a founding member of Green City Market (seriously, I am committed to local food!). 

I have two blogs I ignore regularly, Backyarditarian.com (I also Tumblr at Daily Backyarditarian, though not daily) and OneHundredMeals.com, a blog I share with Grant Kessler. We are making plans for our next Meals, so stay tuned, all is not forgotten!
