Chicago Market is pleased to be partnering with our friends at Rogers Park Food Co-op to bring you a farm tour opportunity at an amazing farm! Marty and Will at Spence Farm are good friends of Chicago Market and you'll love getting to know them. 

You are cordially invited to a tour and chef-prepared lunch at Spence Farm, one of the pioneers of the local food movement in Chicago and stars of the recent award winning documentary, Sustainable! We will gather at the parking lot of Unity Church in Chicago where we will carpool and caravan to the farm together. $30pp goes to the farmers and the chef!

Marty and Will of Spence Farm will walk us through their 160 acre farm with over 200 varieties of vegetables, grains and meats. We'll experience the incredible heirloom flavors, hear about their history and understand what it takes to farm for future generations. Lunch will be provided by chef and local farmer Jake Haag of The Seasonal Plate.
