Tell us your full name – as well as who else shares your fridge.

What motivated you to become an Owner of Chicago Market?
I love to support local and to support positive growth in Uptown!
What type of work do you do?
I teach drama to 7th and 8th graders! Fun!
What else is really important to you…and why?
I love my neighborhood, Uptown, and love seeing it grow and flourish! I’ve lived here since 2005 and it continues to strengthen. Since 2012 I’ve sponsored a running group called Uptown Runners. Check us out on Meetup.com - we just reached 1,000 members! (Congrats from Chicago Market on reaching the 1,000 member milestone, Dinah! And hey, you'll be excited to know we're partners with Back on My Feet and looking forward to working with them on job candidates.)
Is there something new you’d like to learn or pursue…either now or someday?
I’ve just begun gardening with a friend at Grow Uptown, the newest community garden of the Peterson Garden Project. Eager to learn some urban farming!
Do you have a favorite food or “signature dish”?
Nope. Not much of a cook, though I love eating!
What’s your ‘one wish come true” for Chicago Market? It might be a product for our shelves, a program you’d like to see us offer, a location – you name it!
Classes and community! Gatherings! Info! Events!
What three words best describe you?
Positive. Playful. Patient.
