Care for Community - Neighbors Helping Neighbors
How is this business you own different? It follows the seven Cooperative Principles and during this holiday season, Principle #7, Care for the Community is more important than ever.
You can join us in caring for the community by joining our Neighbors Helping Neighbors initiative. Make a donation that we'll share with our friends at Lakeview Pantry and Ravenswood Community Services. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Lakeview Pantry for letting us use their board room for our meetings...back when in-person meetings were a thing! And former Chicago Board member Kelly Hewitt holds down the kitchen duties over at Ravenswood Community Services on a regular basis. We're so thankful for the work both organizations do in our community and we know you are too. We've raised over $1500 so far - let's break $2000 together!
Holiday Offerings - On Sale Now!
Orders close December 10 and pickup is December 12 at Chicago Market from 11am to 3pm. You can also join our Neighbors Helping Neighbors initiative and drop off donations to Lakeview Pantry and Ravenswood Community Services during this time.

Volunteer Shout Out
As a 100% volunteer organization, we could not have done any of this without you.
We are looking excitedly towards next year as we develop our store, offer new and exciting events, and continue to support farmers and producers through a variety of sales offerings - and our amazing volunteers will help in all these efforts!
Keep an eye out for some new and evolving content on the Volunteer page of our website after the New Year! And of course, if you're interested in volunteering, please email us.
A safe, happy and healthy New Year to you all.
