Here's a quick update on what our Chicago Market teams have been doing this past week:
Board members toured several prospective sites for the co-op.
The Board voted to open our monthly Board meetings to Owners, beginning in April.
Marketing, Outreach and others met to plan events, marketing and more for the next three months. Many new outreach plans are in the works.
Funding identified two new grants and is at work preparing the applications.
Funding continued work on Owner Loan Campaign materials.
Marketing revised our FAQs.
Finance updated the pro forma and is continuing work on the business plan.
Planning is beginning on our next annual Owners' meeting, to be held this summer
Food To Market Challenge team met for its first strategy session. The discussion featured a farmer, a tech expert, new volunteers and others.
Planning continues on our next pop-up markets.
Site-selection committee and others met to discuss architect candidates.
