Here's a quick update on what our Chicago Market teams have been doing this past week:
Chicago Market had an outstanding presence at last weekend's Good Food Festival. Team members talked with farmers and food producers about being vendors at upcoming pop-ups. Members of our Grocery Logistics and Procurement team worked to build relationships with food producer. Board member Esther, owner of the Read It & Eat culinary bookstore, was there with a booth. Funding director Greg gave a presentation on co-ops. Food to Market team members attended the event and connected with another farmer to add to the tam. We even recruited a couple of new Business Owners.
Design & Content is compiling stories for April's newsletter.
The Board held its March meeting on Wednesday.
Work continues on our upcoming pop-up markets.
Work continues on finalizing our business plan, cash-flow projections and pro forma.
