Here's a quick update on what our Chicago Market teams have been doing this past week:
Grocery Logistics & Procurement continues work on the farmer/producer database.
Board members met with Rogers Park Food co-op to share ideas.
Finance talked with the National Cooperative Bank about opening an account there.
Site Selection met to discuss architects and investigate a potential new site.
Web 2.0 team met to continue work on updating the website.
Teams are working on creating printed materials and other collateral for our next ownership campaign.
Owner Recruitment worked on outreach to business owners.
Marketing is planning our next Owner drive to raise funds for an architect and designers. The team also started a new campaign to identify each new Owner by Owner number.
Volunteer recruitment sent out an email of volunteer openings to recruit more people to help.
Events is continuing work on the two co-op pop-ups planned for May.
The SuperTeam of Marketing, Design, Events, Recruitment and more met to plan upcoming campaigns.
Funding director and Site met with an alderman to discuss a potential site, also continued work on our cash-flow timeline, Local Food Promotion grant and business plan.
