Here's a quick update on what our Chicago Market teams have been doing this past week:
GM Hiring team met, wrote a committee charter and worked on GM job description.
Funding met with a credit union that's interested in loaning to Chicago Market.
Board President sent out a Board self-assessment survey.
Board members attended the IL Co-op Start Up workshop.
Board members talked with prospective Board candidates.
Members of marketing, member recruitment and owner engagement teams met to discuss upcoming outreach.
Events is recruiting business owners to participate in our annual Owners meeting.
Site selection is working on a letter of intent for a prospective site and discussing a new possible site.
Funding is working on grant applications and other financing issues.
Work continues on August newsletter.
