Here's a quick update on what our Chicago Market teams have been doing this past week:
The Board and many volunteers organized and hosted our second-annual Owners Meeting.
The Board met for its monthly meeting.
Board member mike developed a chart to track Board and officer terms and create a historical record of Board members. Mike also and a meeting with the Funding Director on potential site funding.
Board President Grant prepared for the Board meeting and annual meeting, wrote the Annual Report, recruited a vendor for our next pop-up market and sent emails and social media posts.
Grant arranged a discount for Owners on the FamilyFarmed Urban Farm Bus Tour [link:https://www.showclix.com/event/familyfarmed-urban-ag-bus-tour] (Email[email protected] to get a special link for a $15 discount!)
The Site Team met to discuss potential sites.
Board member Karen worked on the Owners meeting and the September newsletter.
